A GOODBYE Ode To Sarah Palin!

On August 29, 2008 in Dayton, Ohio, then Republican presidential candidate John McCain announced that he had chosen Sarah Louise Palin as his running mate to possibly become Vice President of the United States.

Approximately 330 days after John McCain’s announcement Sarah Louise Palin resigned as Governor on July 26, 2009, two and a half years into her four-year term.

It was fun Sarah; by golly we’ll miss ya!  Good bye Sarah, goodbye!

Here is an “Ode to Sarah”. Enjoy the lyrical stylings with complex stanza forms using You Tube.

These clips sums up the intelligence of Sarah Louise Palin’s last 330 days:

  1. Good news is that Palin is out of office. Good news is that many Republicans are negative about her and her resignation. Bad news is the base that sees her as a rock star is large enough to keep her in the news. But that brings good news to the comics. Bad news is she will keep speaking … good news for her speech writer who is horrible, yet remains employed.

Good news for her will be a big book deal … good news for me is that I won’t read it. Good news for her that she may get a talk show, good news for me I won’t watch or listen.

But more importantly, welcome back Paulette … I’ve missed your posts.

    • Hi Frank!!!

I LOVE your response! Palin should be in silent films for sure. 🙂

It’s great to be back Frank. What a summer FILLED with news we’ve had — incredible!

July has flown by and I’ve had some obligations that kept me away!

      I hope you’re having a good summer.

      Cheers!

      • I’ll keep watch to see when you post. Meanwhile, let’s get Tiger back on track!

The tour comes to Ohio next week … Phil’s return … I was hoping to go but decide to pass. Maybe next year. Firestone CC is such a classic course to see, so I look forward to returning.

Meanwhile … cheers to you … toast a glass of wine this weekend!
