Trying To Avoid Foreclosure? Borrow Cindy McCain’s $300,000.00 Outfit

First Cindy McCain stole ‘family recipes’ from Quaker and Rachel Ray, now she’s throwing dough in Americans faces by wearing a lovely house on her ears.

One of the persistent memes in the Republican line of attack against Barack Obama is the notion that he is an elitist, whereas the G.O.P. represent real working Americans like Levi “F-in’ Redneck” Johnston.

It caught our attention, then, when First Lady Laura Bush and would-be First Lady Cindy McCain took the stage Tuesday night wearing some rather fancy designer clothes. So we asked our fashion department to price out their outfits.

Laura Bush
Oscar de la Renta suit: $2,500
Stuart Weitzman heels: $325
Pearl stud earrings: $600–$1,500
Total: Between $3,425 and $4,325

Cindy McCain
Oscar de la Renta dress: $3,000
Chanel J12 White Ceramic Watch: $4,500
Three-carat diamond earrings: $280,000
Four-strand pearl necklace: $11,000–$25,000
Shoes, designer unknown: $600
Total: Between $299,100 and $313,100

Wow! No wonder McCain has so many houses: his wife has the price of a Scottsdale split-level hanging from her ears.

(All prices except Laura’s shoes and Cindy’s watch are estimates, and the jewelry prices are based on the assumption that the pieces are real.)

Change you can believe in???

John and Cindy just don’t get it.

  3. Obscenely rich, aren’t they? And somehow McCain has the gall to try to paint Obama as an elitist.

  4. I’m beginning to believe that McCain doesn’t know what the word ‘elitist’ means. Otherwise he would not utter it.

Remember he is also the son of an oil heiress – no one talk about that.

    Obscenely rich is correct.

  5. her earrings alone could buy a home. No wonder McCain is so out of touch with how Americans are hurting. Remember he voted against raising the minimum wage, was it 15 times.

In other words they will be rich and rest of the country struggle to get by. They are such hypocrites. It is extremely important that people know these things because every 4 years liars like McCain get the uninformed to vote against their own interests. Its a crying shame indeed.

  7. $300,000. Sickening, decadent and totally gaudy!!Absolutely out of touch with Joe and Jane sixpack, although these are the same imbeciles and idiots that will vote for the Republicans.

  8. I’ll never drink Bud (or any other beer ) again. $250,000,000.00 – $300,000,000.00 in wealth from owning a beer distribution company. What a f__king joke. The McCain lady doesn’t make anything, improve anything, or add any intrinsic value to a product. Just happen to have a monopoly on beer routes. It’s nice to be sober! F__k the right wing republicans! They aren’t getting any of my hard earned money for an overpriced liquid that makes people stupid, and crash and kill other innocent people.
